Wicked

Cory and I participated in a nutritional study run by the school last November. If anyone remembers me whining about the awful "tea diet" you'll know what I am talking about. The good part was that we got paid to be in this study, so we decided to use our money for something we would not normally be able to afford. So we bought tickets to see the musical Wicked, which was touring nationally with a stop in Rochester. We bought tickets months ago, and the time finally arrived! We went Friday night.

First, a stop for dinner. A lady I work with named Beth was kind to us and gave us a gift certificate to a yummy Italian and Steak restaurant up in Rochester. We ordered so much food, as can been seen in the picture. It sure was TASTY!!

Then to the musical. It was soooooo good! I am going to have to say that it makes it into my top 5 favorite musicals (with the others being Phantom of the Opera, Ragtime, Aida and Beauty and the Beast or Les Mis). The music is FANTASTIC and the make-up is great. Plus it's really witty. There were lots of laugh-out-loud moments. Overall it's super and I told Cory that I want to see it again. Someday when it comes to a city near us again, we'll go. But in the meantime, if you ever have the chance to see it, take it. It's well worth seeing!
