New Jersey

We went down to New Jersey over the Memorial Day weekend to see my cousin Allsion & her family. She just had a baby and they named her Paige. She is so cute! We also took the opportunity to head to the shore - they don't call it the beach out here on the east coast. It was a very nice weekend and a good way to beat the heat!

Liliac Festival

On Friday May 18th we went up to Rochester to the "Lilac Festival." It's held in a huge park with lots and lots of lilac bushes that were beautiful and smelled fantastic. They also had crafts, trinkets, plenty of junk food and a band later in the evening. We had a funnel cake - delicious - and hung around to listen to the band. It was a great evening.

Cory's brother Nathan is getting married on June 9th and so this past weekend we had to go shopping to find a shirt to complete the outfit that Cory is supposed to wear to the wedding. This is the final product of what he will be wearing. Makes me want to eat mint chocolate chip ice cream ...
