Domestic Sarah

I just want to say that I am so domestic! :) My friend Jaime came over on Monday so we could do corn together. We cook it and then freeze it in baggies so we can have delicious corn all year long (I can't stand frozen corn from the store). We bought the corn from a local farmer and it was yummy! Jaime's husband is in Cory's class, so it was the girls doing some bonding while the boys studied for finals.

All done

Amazing. Brilliant. Astounding. Marvelous. Incredible. Wonderful. Remarkable. Spell-binding. What a book!! It was a fabulous journey that is now completed ... but the books and the characters will live on forever since they are some of the most well-written ever. Thank you J.K. Rowling for creating such literary masterpieces. Long live Harry Potter!! :)

It's time

It's finally time! I go to a WaldenBooks tonight to pick up my reserved copy of the final Harry Potter book! The party starts at 9:30 p.m. and I can't wait ... it's been a long time waiting but it's finally here and I just want to say that I am so so so excited!!! It's going to be awesome!

New York City!

We took Cory's family down to New York City this past weekend. We drove down early Friday morning and spent the day in upper Manhattan. We got up early Saturday morning and saw the Statute of Liberty and then went into lower Manhatten. We got home late Saturday night. It was a really fun time and beautiful weather! The city is awesome to go and visit!

Niagara Falls

Cory's family is in town for a week, so we took them to Niagara Falls on Saturday. It's breathtaking out there - definitely worth a visit if you ever get the chance to go see the falls. They shine lights at them at night, and they are beautiful to look at. Such an awesome display of the beauty of God's creations!

Back home in Utah

We had the chance to fly home last weekend and spend some quality time with our families!! Cory's brother Nathan got married June 9th in the Bountiful temple and they had a reception at Shar's parents house. The whole day was beautiful and it was certainly nice to be home with those we love and miss.

Harry Theme Park

They are doing a Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios in Florida! I personally want go live there, but I am going to have wait until late 2009 or early 2010 for it to be ready. Until then I will go back to re-reading the books for the millionth time. This is the best piece of news I have received all week.
